SF350-08-K9-EU provides fanless, managed Fast Ethernet switching for small-business networks that retain 10/100 connections. Eight RJ-45 access ports form a desktop switch with Layer 2+ capability. Every network connection uses copper; there are no dedicated uplink ports, fiber cages or expansion bays, so an upstream connection occupies a regular network port. The Cisco 350 Series provides configurable access switching without supplying PoE to attached equipment. Its discontinued sibling SF352-08P-K9-EU adds PoE+ for powered endpoints and should not be confused with this non-PoE configuration. Browser-based configuration and Textview CLI give administrators graphical and command-line management paths.
