SF350-08-K9 is a fanless, managed Layer 2+ desktop switch with eight 10/100 RJ-45 ports, non-PoE operation and no dedicated uplinks. The Cisco 350 Series Managed Switches family serves small-business networks requiring configurable access switching for separately powered endpoints. Fixed copper connectivity defines this model: there are no optical cages or removable uplink-module bays. Voice VLAN handling separates telephone traffic, while access controls and traffic prioritization provide policies for mixed office devices. The discontinued SF352-08P-K9-NA adds PoE+ with a shared 62W budget for legacy installations requiring endpoint power. This eight-port Fast Ethernet managed switch addresses existing copper networks where the installed link speed and connection requirements remain unchanged, rather than adding Gigabit access or fiber connectivity.

1.6 Gbps switching capacity supports nonblocking traffic handling across the fixed interfaces. 1.19 Mpps forwarding handles 64-byte packets at wire speed. 990 static IPv4 routes accommodate explicitly maintained next-hop entries, while PBR directs selected traffic toward different next hops. SF350-08-K9 combines 512 MB of DRAM, 256 MB of flash and a dynamically shared 1.5 MB packet buffer for system operation, image storage and packet handling. A 16000-entry MAC table accommodates learned Ethernet destinations, while STP/RSTP/MSTP and LACP govern spanning-tree operation and aggregated links. The Cisco SF350-08 provides browser configuration over HTTP/HTTPS, a console CLI, SSH and SNMP for administration and monitoring. Dual firmware images support software-image changes, and the front-panel USB connection provides a local transfer path for configurations or firmware. 5.8W maximum system consumption at 220V provides an electrical-load reference for the switch itself, without an allowance for powering attached endpoints.
ORM Systems offers SF350-08-K9 new sealed or certified refurbished; refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested, with the supplied adapter verified to deliver rated output, firmware verified and configuration wiped to factory default. When a small office adds separate departmental subnets, the switch can provide local inter-VLAN forwarding across as many as 128 IP interfaces. Interfaces can reside on physical ports, VLAN interfaces or loopbacks. Before the PO, specify the interface plan and confirm that manually maintained routes fit the operating model.
When several sites need a common configuration baseline, text-editable configuration files can be downloaded to additional units, and Secure Copy supports protected file transfer. CLI privilege levels 1, 7 and 15 separate administrative access. Specify the configuration template, credential ownership and regional ordering form before issuing the PO.
When troubleshooting requires a traffic capture before a change window, port mirroring provides one monitoring session and a destination port for the analyzer. The monitoring connection occupies a network port rather than a separate capture interface. Specify the mirror source and reserve the destination connection before the PO.

SF350-08-K9 denotes an eight-port 10/100 managed switch in the Cisco 350 Series. SF350 identifies the Fast Ethernet model family, and 08 corresponds to eight network ports. SF350-08-K9-NA is the U.S. regional form; SF350-08-K9-EU and SF350-08-K9-UK identify other regional variants.
SF350-08-K9 supports a web UI with a customizable dashboard over HTTP/HTTPS, console CLI, remote CLI over SSH or Telnet, and SNMP versions 1, 2c and 3. Cisco Smart Network Application, FindIT Network Manager with an embedded probe, and Cisco Active Advisor provide additional management or visibility paths.
SF350-08-K9 is discontinued: NA, EU and UK variants reached end of sale October 30, 2021, and Cisco support ends October 31, 2026. The China variant's support ended June 30, 2025. The discontinued interim CBS350-8T-E-2G-NA leads forward to current C1300-8T-E-2G.
ORM Systems offers SF350-08-K9 new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to a 3-year extended warranty for new units and up to 1 year for refurbished units. Every condition has 30-day returns; terms apply. Cisco's original Limited Lifetime warranty for NA/EU/UK variants is bounded by the October 31, 2026 support deadline.
The now-discontinued SF350-08-K9 replaced discontinued SF300-08 regional models SRW208-K9-NA, SRW208-K9-G5 and SRW208-K9-CN. Their corresponding replacements were SF350-08-K9-NA, SF350-08-K9-UK and SF350-08-K9-CN. Regional identifiers differ, so a spare order needs the installed unit's complete part number rather than only the older SF300-08 model name.
No, SF350-08-K9 does not provide PoE output and cannot power phones, cameras or access points through its Ethernet ports. Endpoints need their own power source. The external AC adapter powers the switch itself and does not turn its data ports into powered ports.
SF350-08-K9 has no dedicated uplink ports, SFP cages or Gigabit interfaces; network connections use its eight 10/100 RJ-45 ports. Any connection to another switch occupies one of those ports. Fiber transceivers and removable uplink modules cannot add optical connectivity to this model.
SF350-08-K9 supports static IPv4 routing with up to 990 routes and 128 IP interfaces, plus PBR. Routed interfaces can use physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLAN interfaces or loopbacks. The static route plan requires explicit next-hop entries rather than relying on automatic route exchange.
The Cisco SF350-08 uses an external AC adapter with a 100-240V AC input range. Worst-case system consumption is 5.6W at 110V and 5.8W at 220V. The adapter is separate from the chassis, so the purchase order should identify the regional power arrangement and adapter inclusion.
The Cisco SF350-08 measures 279.4 mm wide, 44 mm high and 170 mm deep, with a weight of 1.18 kg. Its narrow chassis is a desktop form factor rather than a full-width 19-inch rack chassis. Fanless cooling eliminates a chassis fan from the installation.
SF352-08P-K9-NA supplies PoE+ across eight ports with a shared 62W budget; SF350-08-K9 supplies no endpoint power. Both models are discontinued. SF350-08-K9 suits like-for-like spares where devices have separate power, while SF352-08P-K9-NA suits replacement of an existing legacy PoE switch.
SF350-24-K9-NA uses an internal universal AC supply, while SF350-08-K9 uses an external AC adapter. Both switches are discontinued, and the larger model has 24 Fast Ethernet access ports. SF350-08-K9 suits compact legacy spares; SF350-24-K9-NA matches an existing internally powered installation requiring the larger port count.
C1300-8T-E-2G provides eight Gigabit access ports and two 1G copper/SFP combo uplinks, whereas SF350-08-K9 is limited to eight 10/100 copper ports. SF350-08-K9 is discontinued. Existing Fast Ethernet installations may need an exact spare; C1300-8T-E-2G is the current migration choice for Gigabit connectivity.
The Cisco 350 Series supports STP, RSTP, MSTP and LACP for spanning-tree control and link aggregation. Voice VLAN handling, ACLs and QoS address telephone traffic, access restrictions and prioritization. These controls operate on network traffic without changing physical port speeds or adding uplink hardware to SF350-08-K9.
SF350-08-K9 has 512 MB of DRAM, 256 MB of flash and a dynamically shared 1.5 MB packet buffer. These are separate resources for system operation, image storage and packet handling. Dual firmware images and a front-panel USB port provide additional options for handling software images and configurations.
