SF350-24MP-K9 provides managed Layer 2+ Fast Ethernet access through 24 10/100 RJ-45 PoE+ ports, with four fixed Gigabit uplinks in a rack-mount 1U chassis. Two uplinks offer copper/SFP combo connections; the other two are dedicated SFP slots, supporting copper or fiber uplink media without a removable uplink card. The Cisco 350 Series serves small-business networks connecting employee computers, voice systems, wireless access points and IP surveillance devices. The discontinued SF350-24P-K9-NA is the lower-PoE-budget sibling with the same access-port count. The SF350-24MP configuration also supports automatic Voice VLAN assignment and Auto Smartports, which apply voice traffic handling and port configuration to attached devices rather than requiring every endpoint connection to be configured individually.

12.8 Gbps switching capacity provides nonblocking forwarding across the access and uplink connections. 9.52 Mpps forwarding handles minimum-size 64-byte packets. 375W of shared PoE power supplies connected endpoints, subject to allocation rather than simultaneous maximum delivery on every powered port. Static routing supports local inter-VLAN forwarding, while PBR selects next hops using IPv4 or IPv6 access-control rules. SF350-24MP-K9 uses 512 MB of DRAM and 256 MB of flash for its control software and stored files. A dynamically shared 1.5 MB packet buffer accommodates traffic bursts across ports. STP/RSTP/MSTP and LACP provide loop-control and link-aggregation mechanisms, while 4094 VLANs support traffic separation. Browser-based administration, the Textview CLI and SNMP provide local and remote operational access. DHCP snooping, IP Source Guard and Dynamic ARP Inspection enforce address bindings at the access edge. Dynamic routing is not part of this feature set; routed subnet designs use configured next hops instead of a routing-protocol adjacency.
ORM Systems offers SF350-24MP-K9 new sealed or certified refurbished, with ORM warranties of up to 3-year extended coverage for new units or up to 1 year for certified refurbished units, plus 30-day returns on every condition; terms apply. Refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested, with PoE output verified under load on every powered port, firmware verified and configurations wiped to factory default. Specify condition, regional power connection and quantities on the PO; Cisco's separate limited lifetime warranty ends January 31, 2028. Enterprise and volume orders can use PO acceptance, Net-30 for government, RMA with advance replacement and regional stock/RMA across UK, EU, US and MEA.

When several sites need the same configuration workflow, the embedded FindIT Network Probe removes the need for a separate local probe appliance. Network Plug and Play supports provisioning updates and initial rollout. Specify the management environment and prepare the site configuration before releasing each branch purchase order.
When a small business moves inter-subnet forwarding onto the access switch, 128 IP interfaces provide a defined planning boundary. Interfaces can attach to physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLANs or loopbacks. Map the required subnet interfaces and upstream forwarding policy before specifying the switch on the purchase order.
When a replacement unit needs preparation before shipment to a site, the front-panel USB Type-A connection supports transferring configurations and software images. Dual images keep two software versions available for maintenance. Include the required configuration file and chosen software image in the staging instructions accompanying the purchase order.
Gigabit speeds on every access port
Access connections stop at 100 Mbps; only uplinks reach Gigabit speeds. C1300-24FP-4G retains 24 powered access ports while providing Gigabit endpoint connectivity.
10G uplinks to distribution
All four uplinks are limited to 1G, and the chassis has no removable uplink-card bay. A 10G distribution connection requires a different switch.
Fanless operation in occupied spaces
Two internal fans provide active cooling, so SF350-24MP-K9 is not fanless. An installation requiring passive cooling needs a different chassis rather than a configuration change.

SF350-24MP-K9 identifies a Cisco 350 Series Fast Ethernet managed switch: 24 denotes the access-port count and MP identifies the Max PoE configuration. The 375W version has four Gigabit uplinks. Complete regional forms include SF350-24MP-K9-NA for North America, SF350-24MP-K9-EU for Europe and SF350-24MP-K9-UK for the United Kingdom.
SF350-24MP-K9 supports an HTTP/HTTPS web interface, Textview CLI through console, SSH or Telnet, and SNMP v1/v2c/v3. Network-level integrations include Smart Network Application, FindIT Network Manager/Probe, FindIT Network Discovery Utility, Cisco Active Advisor and Network Plug and Play with PnP Connect. The web interface provides simple and advanced configuration modes.
SF350-24MP-K9 shares a 375W PoE budget across 24 powered Fast Ethernet ports. Four ports support 60W PoE, while the other powered ports support 30W maximum. Those individual limits remain subject to the common budget, so simultaneous endpoint demand must be allocated before specifying powered devices.
Four 1G uplinks are available on SF350-24MP-K9: two dedicated SFP slots and two copper/SFP combo ports. Each combo connection shares one logical port between its copper connector and SFP slot; both media cannot operate simultaneously on that port. The uplinks are fixed, so no removable uplink card is required.
The Cisco 350 Series provides static IPv4 routing and PBR on SF350-24MP, with 990 IPv4 static routes and 128 IP interfaces. Interfaces can be physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLAN interfaces or loopbacks. Use configured next hops for routed subnets; this configuration does not provide a dynamic-routing control plane.
No, SF350-24MP-K9 uses one internal AC power supply rather than redundant power modules. Input accepts 100-240V AC at 50-60 Hz. System-only consumption reaches 29.2W at 110V AC, excluding endpoint PoE delivery, so that figure is not the fully loaded rack-power requirement.
SF350-24MP fits a standard 19-inch rack with a 440 mm-wide, 44 mm-high chassis and a mounting kit included in the original package. Chassis depth is 257 mm and weight is 4.12 kg. Two fans provide active cooling, so the installation should not be specified as fanless.
SF350-24MP-K9 reached end of sale on January 29, 2023 for the North American, European and UK variants. The software-maintenance milestone was January 29, 2024, and the last date of support is January 31, 2028. Plan migration and spare-unit requirements around that final support cutoff.
SF350-24MP-K9 replaces the discontinued SF300-24MP-K9-NA, SF300-24MP-K9-EU and SF300-24MP-K9-UK regional models. The replacement remains a 24-port Fast Ethernet Max PoE managed switch rather than a Gigabit access upgrade. Match the original installation's region, endpoint power requirements and uplink media before specifying the replacement order.
ORM Systems supplies SF350-24MP-K9 new sealed or certified refurbished: new units receive up to 3-year extended ORM coverage, and refurbished units receive up to 1 year. Returns cover 30 days in every condition; terms apply. Cisco's separate limited lifetime hardware warranty is bounded by its January 31, 2028 support cutoff.
SF350-24MP-K9 provides a 375W PoE budget, while the discontinued SF350-24P-K9-NA provides 185W. Both retain 24 Fast Ethernet powered access ports and the same Gigabit uplink arrangement. SF350-24MP-K9 addresses a larger shared endpoint-power requirement; SF350-24P-K9-NA suits an existing lower-power configuration where retaining that discontinued model is required.
SF350-48MP-K9-NA provides 48 Fast Ethernet access ports, compared with 24 on SF350-24MP-K9. The discontinued higher-density model fits an existing 48-port layout, while SF350-24MP-K9 fits a 24-port endpoint inventory. Count required access connections independently of uplinks when matching a replacement unit to an installed chassis.
C1300-24FP-4G provides 24 Gigabit access ports, whereas SF350-24MP-K9 provides 24 Fast Ethernet access ports. Both configurations include four Gigabit fiber uplinks. SF350-24MP-K9 suits continuity with an existing 10/100 installation; C1300-24FP-4G is the current migration option when endpoint access must move to Gigabit speeds.
