Catalyst 9300LM fit is the edge over C9300L-STACK, which serves Catalyst 9300L only. Match the adapter with STACK-T3A type cables at every stack link. The Cisco Catalyst 9300L stack module installs in the rear StackWise port, where each adapter gives a cable endpoint for the switch. A StackWise-320 stack gives one management plane, active and standby roles, stateful switchover and full-ring redundancy. 320 Gbps of stack bandwidth applies to StackWise-320 on Catalyst 9300L and 9300LM switches, not to a single adapter. Eight switches are the stack limit for those fixed uplink models. Full-ring cabling keeps redundant StackWise connections; an incomplete ring runs at half bandwidth and loses redundancy. C9300L-STACK-A must use the matching adapter and cable combination at both ends of each link; a C9300L-STACK component must not share that link. Cisco IOS XE Cupertino 17.9.x introduced the T3A cable and stack adapter. The adapter locks into the StackWise port with a Torx T15 fastener, and the cable latch seats in the adapter slot. 200 insertions are the removal-and-insertion limit for StackWise cables.
C9300L-STACK-A is offered new sealed and certified refurbished. Certified refurbished adapters have connectors, pins, latches and housing inspected, and the module seats and locks in the rear slot and is recognized by the switch.
