320 Gbps of StackWise-320 stack bandwidth applies to a full Catalyst 9300L fixed-uplink stack with a maximum of eight members. A full ring needs one data stack cable per member; a chain needs one fewer cable and runs without redundant StackWise cable connections. STACK-T3-50CM connects to StackWise-320 adapters in the rear ports, and each link must use the matching Type 3 adapter and cable at both ends. Removing more than one cable from a running full ring can split the stack. StackWise-1T/480/320 uses active and standby roles, stateful switchover and a single control and management plane.

A buyer building a four-member Catalyst 9300L stack needs four data stack cables for a full ring. A chain uses three cables and leaves the stack without redundant StackWise cable connections. Count the members, then order the same number of cables for a full ring before the PO.
A buyer stacking Catalyst 9300L switches in one vertical rack or on a table should measure for the 0.5 m route between rear StackWise-320 adapters. The 0.5 m cable is the default Type 3 length. Measure every rear path before choosing the final cable count.

STACK-T3-50CM is the Cisco 50CM type 3 stacking cable for StackWise-320 Catalyst 9300L fixed-uplink switches. STACK identifies a data stack cable, T3 identifies the Type 3 stack cable family, and 50CM identifies the 0.5 m length used as the default C9300L stack kit cable.
STACK-T3-50CM fits Catalyst 9300L fixed-uplink switches using Type 3 StackWise-320 adapters. Catalyst 9300LM uses T3A cables only, and modular-uplink Catalyst 9300 and 9300X switches use Type 1 StackWise cables. Fixed uplink Catalyst 9300L switches do not stack with modular-uplink Catalyst 9300 switches.
Catalyst 9300L uses STACK-T3-50CM, STACK-T3-1M and STACK-T3-3M with C9300L-STACK, or STACK-T3A-50CM, STACK-T3A-1M and STACK-T3A-3M with C9300L-STACK-A. The cable and adapter type must match at both ends of each link. Choose 0.5 m, 1 m or 3 m by measured path.

STACK-T3-50CM installs into StackWise-320 adapters in the rear StackWise ports. Remove the dust covers, insert the cable connector into the adapter, and push until the spring latch locks. Removing and installing the cable more than 200 times is not supported, and live stack changes can cause splits or reloads.
STACK-T3-50CM is not the cable for a Catalyst 9300LM link. Catalyst 9300LM switches use only T3A type stacking cables, and each StackWise link must use the matching adapter and cable combination at both ends. Use the Type 3 cable only on Catalyst 9300L Type 3 links.
STACK-T3-50CM= is the spare ordering form of STACK-T3-50CM. The base PID is the 50CM type 3 stacking cable, and the equals form is the spare cable. Cisco Refresh and ORM certified refurbished are separate conditions; the equals sign does not mean ORM refurbishment.
The replacement for STACK-T3-50CM is STACK-T3A-50CM. The replacement is a 50CM Type 3A stacking cable for Catalyst 9300L and 9300LM. Match the adapter type at both ends before ordering, because Type 3 and Type 3A components must not be mixed within one link.
