This Cisco Catalyst 9300L stack cable connects StackWise-320 adapters at the rear of each switch, and each link must use the matching Type 3 adapter and cable at both ends. Catalyst 9300L stacks run as one logical switch with active, standby and member roles. A full ring gives redundant StackWise cable connections; an incomplete StackWise cabling path leaves the stack at half bandwidth and without redundant connections.

320 Gbps of stack bandwidth applies to StackWise-320 on Catalyst 9300L fixed-uplink models, not to a per-cable direction. 3 m length suits side-by-side mounting where the 0.5 m default cable is too short, and the cable bend limit is 3.2 in. or 82 mm. Eight switches form the maximum StackWise-320 stack. A full ring of four switches needs four data stack cables; a chain of four switches needs three and has no redundant connection. STACK-T3-3M uses the rear StackWise-320 adapter path; insert the connector until the spring latch locks. The cable is halogen-free and is rated for 200 insertion cycles.

Fixed-uplink Catalyst 9300L stacks do not stack with modular-uplink Catalyst 9300 switches. Modular-uplink Catalyst 9300 uses STACK-T1-3M for a 3 m stack cable.

STACK-T3-3M is the Cisco C9300L 3M Type 3 Stacking Cable used with C9300L-STACK-KIT. It is a 3 m StackWise-320 data stack cable for Catalyst 9300L fixed-uplink switches. T3 marks the Type 3 cable family, and 3M marks the 3 m length.
STACK-T3-3M fits Catalyst 9300L Series Switches with C9300L-STACK Type 3 adapters. Catalyst 9300LM Series Switches use only T3A type stacking cables, so a 3 m Catalyst 9300LM link takes STACK-T3A-3M. Fixed-uplink Catalyst 9300L switches do not stack with modular-uplink Catalyst 9300 switches.
Catalyst 9300L uses Type 3 and Type 3A StackWise-320 cables. The Type 3 choices are STACK-T3-50CM, STACK-T3-1M and STACK-T3-3M with C9300L-STACK adapters. Catalyst 9300L also uses STACK-T3A-50CM, STACK-T3A-1M and STACK-T3A-3M with C9300L-STACK-A adapters.
StackWise-320 provides 320 Gbps of stack bandwidth for Catalyst 9300L fixed-uplink switches using STACK-T3-3M. The stack runs with active, standby and member roles and uses Stateful Switchover. A full ring gives redundant cable connections; an incomplete cable path runs at half bandwidth.
STACK-T3-3M is 3 m long. A full ring needs one cable per switch, so three switches need three cables and eight switches need eight cables. A chain needs one fewer cable than the member count and has no redundant StackWise connection.
STACK-T3-3M serves StackWise-320 stacks with a maximum of 8 Catalyst 9300L members. The full-ring topology gives full bandwidth and redundant StackWise cable connections. A half-ring or incomplete cable path continues at half bandwidth and removes the redundant StackWise path.
STACK-T3-3M installs into a StackWise-320 adapter on the rear of each Catalyst 9300L switch. Remove the dust covers, align the connector, and push until the spring latch locks. A StackWise adapter must already be installed in each destination StackWise port.
STACK-T3-3M is the base 3 m Type 3 stacking cable, and STACK-T3-3M= is the spare form. Cisco remanufactured -RF is separate from ORM certified refurbished. The replacement family uses STACK-T3A-3M for the base 3 m Type 3A cable and STACK-T3A-3M= for its spare form.
The replacement for STACK-T3-3M is STACK-T3A-3M. STACK-T3A-3M is a 3 m Type 3A stacking cable for Catalyst 9300L and Catalyst 9300LM. Confirm the adapter at both ends before ordering, because a single StackWise link must not mix Type 3 and Type 3A components.
STACK-T3-3M gives 3 m reach, while STACK-T3-1M gives 1 m reach. Both are Type 3 StackWise-320 cables for Catalyst 9300L with C9300L-STACK adapters. Choose STACK-T3-3M for side-by-side or longer rear-panel paths, and choose STACK-T3-1M for shorter spacing.
