Its 3 m reach is the edge over STACK-T3A-1M. Each StackWise-320 link must use T3A adapters at both ends. 320 Gbps of StackWise-320 bandwidth applies to Catalyst 9300L and 9300LM fixed-uplink stacks. 3 m cable length suits side-by-side racks or wider spacing, while 0.5 m and 1 m T3A cables cover shorter paths. 8 members form the stack cap, and a full ring needs one data stack cable per member. STACK-T3A-3M plugs into the StackWise-320 adapter; the connector pushes inward until the spring latch locks. Each switch uses a maximum of two data stack cables. Half-ring cabling gives half bandwidth and no redundant connections. Cisco IOS XE Cupertino 17.9.x is the release point for T3A cable and adapter operation. The cable insertion and removal limit is 200 cycles.
STACK-T3A-3M is offered as new sealed and certified refurbished. Certified refurbished cables are inspected and bench-tested between two compatible switches; connectors, pins, latches and housing inspected, connected between two compatible switches, and stack link up at the rated bandwidth. A buyer replacing a failed 3 m T3A link in a Catalyst 9300L or 9300LM stack needs the same T3A cable type at both ends. The link uses StackWise-320 adapters, so the PO should match the 3 m length and the T3A adapter set before ordering.
A buyer adding another fixed-uplink switch to an existing Catalyst 9300L stack needs a matching cable for each new StackWise-320 link. A full ring counts one data stack cable per member, so an 8-member ring needs 8 data stack cables before the PO.
A buyer placing Catalyst 9300L or 9300LM switches side by side or across a wider rack gap needs the 3 m reach. The same StackWise-320 stack still needs matching adapters at both cable ends, so the cable path and adapter type should be checked before the PO.
Catalyst 9300 modular uplinks
STACK-T3A-3M does not fit Catalyst 9300 or Catalyst 9300X modular uplink models. Those switches take STACK-T1-3M for 3 m StackWise-480 or StackWise-1T links.
C9300LM T3 cable reuse
C9300LM Series switches use only T3A type stacking cables. A 3 m Type 3 cable, STACK-T3-3M, fits Catalyst 9300L T3 links only.
Short adjacent switches
3 m length is unnecessary for adjacent vertical stacks with short cable paths. The same T3A set provides STACK-T3A-50CM or STACK-T3A-1M for shorter links.

STACK-T3A-3M is the Cisco 3M Type 3A Stacking Cable for C9300L SKUs. It is a 3 m StackWise-320 data stack cable for Catalyst 9300L and 9300LM fixed-uplink switches. The T3A segment marks the Type 3A cable set, and 3M marks the 3 m length.
STACK-T3A-3M fits Catalyst 9300L and Catalyst 9300LM fixed-uplink switches using T3A StackWise-320 adapters. Catalyst 9300LM uses only T3A type stacking cables. Catalyst 9300 and Catalyst 9300X modular uplink models take STACK-T1 cables instead, and Catalyst 9300L fixed-uplink models do not stack with modular uplink models.
Catalyst 9300L uses StackWise-320 stack kits and cables. C9300L-STACK-KIT2 uses T3A cables, and the T3A cable lengths are STACK-T3A-50CM, STACK-T3A-1M and STACK-T3A-3M. Catalyst 9300L also uses T3 cables with the matching T3 adapter set, but each individual link must match at both ends.
StackWise-320 provides 320 Gbps stacking for Catalyst 9300L and Catalyst 9300LM fixed-uplink stacks with STACK-T3A-3M. The stack acts as one management plane and one control plane. The architecture uses active and standby roles, stateful switchover, and full-ring redundant StackWise cable connections.
A full ring needs one STACK-T3A-3M cable per switch when every link needs 3 m reach. A chain needs one fewer cable than the member count. A 4-switch full ring needs 4 data stack cables, while a 4-switch chain needs 3 data stack cables and has no redundant ring.
Catalyst 9300L and Catalyst 9300LM stacks using STACK-T3A-3M can have 8 members at 320 Gbps. A full ring gives redundant StackWise cable connections. A half ring has half bandwidth and no redundant connections, so the buyer should count one cable per member for a full ring.
STACK-T3A-3M installs into the StackWise-320 adapter on the rear StackWise port. The StackWise adapter must be installed first, then the cable connector is aligned and pushed inward until the spring latch locks. Each link must use the matching T3A adapter and cable combination at both ends.
STACK-T3A-3M can be used in a Catalyst 9300L stack that also has T3 kit links, but each individual StackWise link must match at both ends. A T3A link uses C9300L-STACK-A adapters and T3A cable. C9300LM uses only T3A type stacking cables.
STACK-T3A-3M= is the spare form of STACK-T3A-3M. The base PID is used as supplied for the product page, while the equals form marks spare ordering. The cable role, 3 m length, T3A type and StackWise-320 fit stay the same.
STACK-T3A-3M gives 3 m reach, while STACK-T3A-1M gives 1 m reach. Both are Type 3A StackWise-320 cables for Catalyst 9300L and Catalyst 9300LM stacks using the same T3A adapter set. Choose 3 m for wider spacing and 1 m for shorter in-rack paths.
STACK-T3A-3M is the 3 m Type 3A cable alone. C9300L-STACK-KIT2 is the stack kit with 2 stack adapters and 1 stack cable. Choose the kit when the switch needs adapters, and choose the cable when the T3A adapters are already installed and the required span is 3 m.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for STACK-T3A-3M. The cable serves Catalyst 9300L and Catalyst 9300LM fixed-uplink StackWise-320 stacks at 320 Gbps. The same family stack table names the 0.5 m, 1 m and 3 m T3A cable options.
