46 Gbps per slot is the rating of each included N7K-C7010-FAB-1 fabric module; the fabric and I/O hardware must be matched when specifying the forwarding configuration. A passive midplane interconnects the I/O and fabric modules, while switching functions reside on those modules rather than on the midplane. N7K-C7010-BUN supports a scriptable NX-OS CLI, XML interfaces, SNMPv3, SNMPv2c and SNMPv1, plus Cisco Data Center Network Manager and DCNM web services. Chassis LEDs expose power, fan, fabric, supervisor and I/O status for operational checks. These management interfaces provide configuration and monitoring paths independently of the selected network-facing interfaces.
