SG220-26P-K9-NA provides Layer 2 smart-managed switching through 24 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ access ports and two fixed Gigabit RJ-45/SFP combo uplinks. The rack-mount enclosure belongs to the Cisco 220 Series Smart Switches family, serving small-business networks connecting workstations, wireless access points, IP phones, and cameras. Each combo uplink provides a choice of copper or fiber connectivity, with only one medium active per uplink. The discontinued SG220-26-K9-NA is the nearest non-PoE sibling for installations using separately powered endpoints. This 24-port Gigabit PoE+ switch combines endpoint power delivery with configurable access controls, traffic prioritization, and browser-based administration rather than operating solely as an unmanaged bridge.
SG220-26P-K9-NA price for new stock is $651.00, a 22.2% saving from the Cisco list price of $837.00. SG220-26P-K9-NA refurb price is $558.48. SG220-26P-K9-NA is in stock and available for next-day dispatch. (terms applied)

52 Gbps switching capacity accommodates traffic across the access and uplink interfaces, while 38.69 Mpps forwarding performance applies to 64-byte packets. 180W of shared PoE power must be allocated across connected powered devices; individual ports support 30W, but every powered port cannot supply that maximum simultaneously. SG220-26P-K9-NA carries 128 MB of memory and 32 MB of flash, with a dynamically shared 4.1 Mb packet buffer handling traffic across the interfaces. An 8192-entry MAC table supports address learning, while STP/RSTP/MSTP and LACP provide loop-control and link-aggregation options. Management includes a full CLI, SNMP, and HTTP/HTTPS access, with Cisco FindIT Network Manager support for remote administration. Inter-VLAN routing requires a separate routing device because forwarding remains Layer 2. Two speed-controlled fans provide active cooling, so equipment placement must accommodate airflow and operating noise.
Order SG220-26P-K9-NA new sealed or certified refurbished, and specify the required condition, quantity, and uplink optics on the purchase order. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, rated-speed links on every port, PoE output under load on every powered port, optics bay recognition, clean boot, PSU status, and fan status; firmware is verified and configurations are wiped to factory default. New units carry up to a 3-year extended ORM warranty and certified refurbished units up to 1 year, with 30-day returns on every condition, terms apply; Cisco's eligible limited lifetime hardware coverage includes one-year fan/power-supply coverage and ends July 31, 2027. Enterprise and volume orders accept POs, with Net-30 for government, RMA with advance replacement, and regional stock/RMA across the UK, EU, US, and MEA.

When several offices require matching access policies, text-editable configuration files can be transferred between units rather than rebuilt manually. Support for two configuration files separates prepared settings from the configuration selected for startup. Specify each site's management addressing and retain an approved configuration before placing a multi-unit PO.
When a replacement must be prepared away from the live network, the initial management address is 192.168.1.254 until DHCP supplies another address. A serial-console session uses 9600 bits/s. Confirm the staging subnet, serial-access equipment, and saved settings before ordering units intended for immediate installation.
When IP phones share an office network with workstations, automatic voice VLAN assignment places voice traffic into a voice-specific VLAN with appropriate QoS treatment. Eight hardware queues per port support traffic prioritization. Identify the voice VLAN, endpoint power requests, and required QoS settings before specifying the switch on the PO.
10G uplinks to distribution
The fixed uplinks support Gigabit Ethernet connections only. SG220-26P-K9-NA has no 10G SFP+ uplink interface or removable uplink card for a higher-speed distribution connection.
Four dedicated fiber uplinks
Only two shared RJ-45/SFP uplinks are available. The current replacement, CBS220-24P-4G-NA, provides four dedicated 1G SFP uplinks while retaining 24 Gigabit access ports.

SG220-26P-K9-NA identifies a 220 Series Gigabit PoE smart switch with 26 logical ports: 24 copper access ports and two combo uplinks. P distinguishes the powered model. NA covers the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and other Latin American markets using that regional ordering suffix.
Cisco 220 Series Smart Switches support HTTP/HTTPS browser management, a full CLI through the serial console or SSH/Telnet, SNMP, and Cisco FindIT Network Manager. Cisco FindIT Network Discovery Utility discovers devices and opens their configuration interface. SNMP versions 1, 2c, and 3 provide monitoring and management options.
SG220-26P-K9-NA provides a shared 180W PoE budget across 24 powered access ports, with a 30W maximum per port. The shared budget prevents every powered port from delivering its maximum simultaneously. Size the purchase against the combined power requirements of the actual phones, cameras, and access points.
SG220-26P-K9-NA has two Gigabit SFP interfaces shared with two copper combo uplinks; activating an SFP interface disables its corresponding copper interface. MGBSX1 supports multimode fiber to 550 m, while MGBLX1 supports single-mode fiber to 10 km. Match the selected optic to the fiber and remote interface.
SG220-26P-K9-NA provides Layer 2 switching rather than inter-VLAN routing, so communication between VLANs requires a separate routing device. The switch supports 256 simultaneous VLANs, including management, guest, and voice VLAN functions. Include the upstream routing requirement when specifying the surrounding network equipment rather than treating this switch as a router.
SG220-26P uses an internal AC power supply accepting 100-240V AC at 50-60 Hz, without a redundant internal supply option. Consumption with PoE is 206.5W at 110V or 200.7W at 220V. Use those input-specific figures when sizing the electrical circuit and backup-power allocation for the purchase.
Cisco 220 Series PoE switches, including SG220-26P, support rack mounting or placement on a flat surface; wall mounting is restricted to non-PoE models. SG220-26P occupies 1U in a standard rack. Specify rack placement or a supported flat mounting surface rather than planning a wall-mounted PoE installation.
SG220-26P-K9-NA provides 52 Gbps switching capacity and 38.69 Mpps forwarding performance for 64-byte packets. A dynamically shared 4.1 Mb packet buffer serves the interfaces, while the MAC table holds 8192 entries. Evaluate these figures alongside the traffic pattern and uplink utilization expected from the connected endpoints.
SG220-26P-K9-NA supplies PoE+ on its access ports, whereas SG220-26-K9-NA provides non-PoE access connections. Both models are discontinued. For matching an existing installation, the P model serves endpoints requiring switch-delivered power; the non-PoE model corresponds to installations where endpoints receive power separately from the network connection.
SG220-50P-K9-NA provides 48 PoE+ access ports, compared with 24 on SG220-26P-K9-NA. Both models are discontinued, so this comparison supports matching or maintaining existing equipment. The smaller model fits a 24-connection access requirement, while the larger model corresponds to installations requiring greater access-port density within one enclosure.
CBS220-24P-4G-NA provides four dedicated 1G SFP uplinks, whereas SG220-26P-K9-NA provides two shared Gigabit RJ-45/SFP combo uplinks. CBS220-24P-4G-NA is the current replacement for the discontinued model. Existing-equipment matching can favor the older configuration; purchases requiring four independent fiber uplinks align with the replacement's uplink arrangement.
SG220-26P-K9-NA is discontinued: Cisco ended sales on July 30, 2022, and the last date of applicable service and support is July 31, 2027. Software maintenance ended July 30, 2023. CBS220-24P-4G-NA is the replacement, so remaining-stock orders need a defined maintenance and migration plan.
ORM Systems supplies SG220-26P-K9-NA new sealed or certified refurbished: new units carry up to a 3-year extended warranty, refurbished units up to 1 year, and both have 30-day returns, terms apply. Cisco's eligible hardware warranty is limited lifetime, with one-year fan/power-supply coverage; Cisco coverage ends July 31, 2027.
