PCIe 3.0 x4 or PCIe 2.0 x8 electrical signaling uses an x8 physical connector, so the host slot must provide an x8 connector and the server riser must be present. 2,048 concurrent logins and 2,048 active exchanges define the fabric scale to match on the SAN design. NPIV, SR-IOV, INTx, MSI-X, BIOS, UEFI and FCode are the main host features for UCSC-PCIE-Q2672. Fibre Channel profiles are FC-TAPE, FCP-2, FC-GS-2 and FC-GS-3; the SAN switch profile must match them. The QLE2672 low-profile card measures 167.6 mm deep and 64.5 mm high. 16G FC multimode fiber reaches 35 m on OM2, 100 m on OM3 and 125 m on OM4.

UCSC-PCIE-Q2672 count follows the host PCIe slot count. C220 M4 one-CPU systems use one PCIe option card in slot 1, and C220 M4 two-CPU systems use two option cards in slots 1 and 2. C460 M4 configurations select a maximum of 10 PCIe cards when the required CPUs and risers are present.

UCSC-PCIE-Q2672 is the base C-Series adapter PID. UCSC-PCIE-Q2672= is the spare ordering form for the same adapter. UCSC-PCIE-Q2672-RF is Cisco-remanufactured when that ordering form is used.
