UCSX-V4-Q25GML is the Cisco UCS VIC 14425 virtual interface card with 4 x 25G internal lanes, an mLOM form factor and fit for UCS X210c M6. The rear mLOM position gives the compute node Ethernet and FCoE connectivity through the X-Series fabric. The Cisco UCS X210c M6 network adapter mounts at the back of the node and runs with one or two CPUs. The host is a UCS X-Series M6 compute node in a UCS X9508 chassis, and management runs through Intersight or UCS Manager. It operates at 4 x 25G with UCSX-I-9108-25G or UCSX-I-9108-100G intelligent fabric modules. UCS VIC 14825 uses the rear mezzanine position, pairs with VIC 14425, and adds another 4 x 25G path through the bridge adapter.

256 virtual interfaces are available, with about eight reserved for internal use, and OS or hypervisor limits can reduce the usable count. PCIe 3.0 x16 is the host interface for the mLOM, mezz and PCIe forms in the VIC 1400/14000 family. 24.8W maximum power is the board figure for UCSX-V4-Q25GML, so the chassis power plan must include that adapter load. 109 mm width, 127.8 mm depth and 37.3 mm height fit the X210c M6 rear mLOM envelope. VMware vSphere, Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Citrix XenServer, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and Ubuntu are the operating-system families named for the series. The Cisco UCS custom ASIC provides SR-IOV, usNIC, DPDK, NetFlow, VXLAN, NVGRE, GENEVE, iSCSI boot, FCoE and RoCEv2 features under the service profile.
UCSX-V4-Q25GML is offered new sealed with up to 3-year extended warranty and certified refurbished with up to 1 year. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested in a compatible host; the board, connector and housing are inspected, the card is recognized by a compatible host, and every port links at rated speed. Order this PID for UCS X210c M6 rear mLOM sparing after matching the chassis inventory to VIC 14425. Returns are 30 days on every condition; terms apply. Regional stock and RMA with advance replacement cover UK, EU, US and MEA, with PO accepted and Net-30 for government.

An X210c M6 service team replacing a failed rear mLOM needs the VIC 14425 code, not a C-Series mLOM. UCSX-V4-Q25GML restores the mandatory Ethernet path through the X-Series fabric. Before the PO, confirm the rear mLOM position and chassis inventory.
A bare X210c M6 configuration without selected components needs a Cisco adapter before it becomes a functional compute node. UCSX-V4-Q25GML fills the mandatory rear mLOM adapter choice. Before the PO, match the node generation, CPU count and X9508 chassis plan.
An X-Series chassis using UCSX-I-9108-25G or UCSX-I-9108-100G keeps VIC 14425 at 4 x 25G. UCSX-V4-Q25GML is the mLOM side of that path. Before the PO, match the fabric module and service profile speed to 25G lanes.
2 x 100G X-Series links
UCSX-V4-Q25GML runs 4 x 25G in X210c M6. The 2 x 100G mLOM path with UCSX-I-9108-100G takes UCSX-ML-V5D200GV2.
Rear mezzanine VIC slot
UCSX-V4-Q25GML occupies rear mLOM. The X210c M6 rear mezzanine adapter is UCSX-V4-Q25GME, and Cisco VIC 14825 pairs only with VIC 14425.
C-Series M6 mLOM slot
UCSX-V4-Q25GML fits X210c M6, not C220 M6 or C240 M6. Those rack servers take UCSC-M-V25-04 for 10/25G mLOM.

UCSX-V4-Q25GML is the Cisco UCS VIC 14425 4x25G mLOM for X Compute Node. UCSX-V4-Q25GML= is the spare ordering form, and UCSX-V4-Q25GML-RF is Cisco-remanufactured. The PID is the X210c M6 rear mLOM adapter, not the rear mezzanine VIC.
UCSX-V4-Q25GML fits the Cisco UCS X210c M6 Compute Node in the rear mLOM position. The adapter is exclusive to that X-Series M6 host in the VIC 1400/14000 family. It runs in single-CPU or dual-CPU X210c M6 configurations within the X9508 chassis.
UCSX-V4-Q25GML is the 4x25G mLOM network adapter for a UCS X210c M6. The X210c M6 mLOM choices also include UCSX-ML-V5D200GV2 and UCSX-ML-V5Q50G. The rear mezzanine option is UCSX-V4-Q25GME, and Cisco VIC 14825 can only be used with Cisco UCS VIC 14425 mLOM.
UCSX-V4-Q25GML specifications are 4 x 25G internal lanes, Internal connector type, PCIe 3.0 x16 host interface, 24.8W maximum power, 37.3 mm height, 109 mm width and 127.8 mm depth. The X210c M6 sees 256 virtual interfaces before internal reservations and OS limits.
UCSX-V4-Q25GML has 4 x 25G internal lanes and no external pluggable port count. The far end is the X-Series intelligent fabric module, and the lane speed remains 25G with UCSX-I-9108-25G or UCSX-I-9108-100G. Configure the service profile around 25G lanes.
UCSX-V4-Q25GML uses the rear mLOM position in the UCS X210c M6 Compute Node. The X210c M6 must have a VIC mLOM adapter for Ethernet connectivity. The adapter works in a single-CPU or dual-CPU node, so CPU count does not change this mLOM choice.
UCSX-V4-Q25GML needs UCS Manager 4.3(2) or later on UCS X210c M6, because the host floor is higher than the adapter minimum of UCS Manager 4.2(1). Management runs through Cisco Intersight software or UCS Manager, and the adapter uses service profiles for personality.
UCSX-V4-Q25GML supports Ethernet, FCoE and RoCEv2 for the VIC 1400/14000 family. The feature set also carries SR-IOV, usNIC, DPDK, VM-FEX, NetFlow, Receive Flow Steering, VXLAN, NVGRE and GENEVE. FCoE traffic uses the same unified fabric path as Ethernet.
UCSX-V4-Q25GML ordering variants are UCSX-V4-Q25GML= for the spare form and UCSX-V4-Q25GML-RF for Cisco-remanufactured. Cisco-remanufactured is not the same condition as certified refurbished. Certified refurbished means inspected and bench-tested in a compatible host under ORM's process for that condition.
The difference between UCSX-V4-Q25GML and UCSX-V4-Q25GME is the X210c M6 position. UCSX-V4-Q25GML is the rear mLOM VIC 14425, while UCSX-V4-Q25GME is the rear mezzanine VIC 14825. The mezzanine card pairs with VIC 14425 and uses the UCSX-V4-BRIDGE.
The difference between UCSX-V4-Q25GML and UCSX-ML-V5D200GV2 is speed mode and secure boot generation. UCSX-V4-Q25GML runs 4 x 25G on X210c M6. UCSX-ML-V5D200GV2 is the Cisco UCS VIC 15230 modular LOM with Secure Boot and runs 2 x 100G with UCSX-I-9108-100G.
The difference between UCSX-V4-Q25GML and UCSX-ML-V5Q50G is secure boot. UCSX-V4-Q25GML is the VIC 14425 4x25G mLOM for X210c M6. UCSX-ML-V5Q50G is the VIC 15420 4x25G secure boot mLOM, and it also runs 4 x 25G with X9108-IFM-25G or X9108-IFM-100G.
Cisco stopped selling UCSX-V4-Q25GML on 30 June 2025. Cisco has not announced a last date of support for UCSX-V4-Q25GML. The UCS X210c M6 Compute Node stopped selling on 30 June 2025, and Cisco service for that host ends 30 June 2030.
ORM Systems offers UCSX-V4-Q25GML new sealed with up to 3-year extended warranty and certified refurbished with up to 1 year. Returns are 30 days on every condition; terms apply. Cisco stopped selling this PID on 30 June 2025, so the condition choice should match the sparing plan.
