UCSC-M-V100-04 is the Cisco UCS VIC 1477 dual-port 40/100G QSFP28 mLOM Virtual Interface Card for C220 M6, C240 M6, C225 M6 and C245 M6 rack servers. The card presents Ethernet NICs or FCoE HBAs to the host and occupies the mLOM bay rather than a rear PCIe riser. For a Cisco C220 M6 network adapter, this PID fits the dedicated mLOM card bay on the chassis floor and keeps the rear riser slots open for PCIe cards. Its two QSFP28 ports connect to Cisco fabric interconnects or Nexus switch ports at 40 Gbps or 100 Gbps. UCSC-M-V25-04 is the same M6 mLOM generation for buyers who need four 10/25G SFP28 ports instead.

Two 40/100G QSFP28 Ethernet and FCoE ports use a PCIe 3.0 x16 host interface and 2GB DDR3 memory at 1866 MHz. 256 virtual interfaces create independent NIC and HBA personalities, with about eight reserved for internal use. UCSC-M-V100-04 uses the Cisco UCS custom ASIC and manages through UCS Manager, Cisco IMC or Intersight. SR-IOV, usNIC, DPDK, VM-FEX, NetFlow, VXLAN, NVGRE, GENEVE, iSCSI boot, NPIV and RoCEv2 give the host the offload set to match. Back-to-back VIC latency is as low as 1 microsecond, and Nexus switch latency is about 1 to 2 microseconds. 27.9W maximum power sets the slot budget, and the 18.8 mm by 101.3 mm by 159.8 mm card dimensions match the mLOM bay.

UCSC-M-V100-04 requires UCS Manager 4.2(1) minimum for fabric-interconnect operation or standalone Cisco IMC 4.2(1) minimum for direct server management. The management paths are UCS Manager, Cisco IMC and Intersight. RoCEv2 on the VIC 1400/14000 family starts with UCS Manager Release 4.1.

Cisco stopped selling UCSC-M-V100-04 on 15 July 2026, and the last ship date was 15 October 2026. Cisco has not announced a last date of support for UCSC-M-V100-04. The PID serves C220 M6, C240 M6, C225 M6 and C245 M6 rack servers.
