A C220 M5 or C240 M5 owner with a failed dual-port 25G PCIe adapter needs the same UCSC-P-M4D25GF spare to keep the riser location and SFP28 cabling unchanged. The chassis label must match M5, and the running inventory must show riser 1 or 2 before the PO.
A two-CPU C220 M5 owner adding a second PCIe network adapter can use slots 1 and 2, while a one-CPU C220 M5 owner has only slot 1. The buyer must confirm CPU count, riser population and the 4.0(4o) firmware level before the PO.
