The adapter uses the Intel Ethernet Controller X550 and fits x8 or x16 PCIe slots through an active x4 PCIe 3.0 interface. As a Cisco UCS C240 M5 network adapter, the Intel X550-T2 dual-port 10GBase-T NIC fits Riser 1 or 2 with HHHL card height. C220 M5 uses the same Riser 1 or 2 placement, C480 M5 uses HHHL x8 PCIe placement, and S3260 M5 takes one or two PCIe modules in UCS-S3260-IOE2. UCSC-PCIE-IQ10GC is the RJ-45 sibling for four 10GBase-T ports instead of two.

UCSC-PCIE-ID10GC draws 11.2 W typical and 13 W maximum at 10GbE, with lower power at 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps. The Cisco-remanufactured form is UCSC-PCIEID10GC-RF, separate from certified refurbished condition. Use the base PID for labels and inventory.
