N2XX-AIPCI01 is a Cisco UCS C-Series Ethernet adapter built on the Intel X520 model with 2 x 10G SFP+ ports on a PCIe card for UCS C210 M2 and UCS C250 M2 servers. The Cisco UCS C210 M2 network adapter fits half-height card selections and uses SFP+ copper direct-attach leads or qualified Intel SFP optics at the far end. It also fits UCS C22 M3 SFF, UCS C260 M2 and UCS C220 M4 SFF hosts where those chassis carry the adapter in their option set. Ethernet and FCoE traffic share the 10G ports, so the upstream switch must match the chosen media. N2XX-AIPCI02 is the quad 1GbE sibling for copper access, while this model is the 10G SFP+ choice.

PCIe 2.0 x8 host interface bandwidth matches the adapter entry in UCS C-Series third-party adapter selections. 64 SR-IOV virtual functions per port and 128 Tx and Rx queues per port divide traffic for virtualization hosts. PXE, iSCSI Boot and FCoE Boot cover LAN and storage boot paths. N2XX-AIPCI01 draws 5.8 W typical and 6.2 W maximum in dual-port direct-attach mode, so the slot plan must preserve adapter airflow. 0°C to 55°C operating temperature and 100 LFM minimum airflow set the chassis cooling target. 145.5 mm card depth and low-profile bracket format fit the half-height option-card entries in the server configuration. FCC B, UL, CE, VCCI, BSMI, CTICK and KCC approvals cover the adapter hardware.

A buyer replacing a failed UCS C210 M2 or UCS C250 M2 adapter needs the same PCIe SFP+ card to preserve the two 10G uplinks. Specify N2XX-AIPCI01 with the same bracket height and two matched SFP-H10GB copper cables before the PO.
A UCS C22 M3 SFF expansion using one CPU has one full-height PCIe slot on riser 1. A PCIe RAID card in that one-CPU build leaves no slot for another option card, so confirm CPU count and RAID choice before the PO.

C22 M3 one-CPU RAID
A one-CPU C22 M3 with a PCIe RAID controller has no additional PCIe option-card slot. A two-CPU build with RAID leaves one additional PCIe slot.

N2XX-AIPCI01 is the Intel X520 Dual Port 10Gb SFP+ Adapter for UCS C-Series servers. The model name is Intel X520, and the adapter is a PCIe Ethernet NIC with iSCSI and FCoE features. N2XX-AIPCI01= is the spare ordering form for the same adapter.
N2XX-AIPCI01 fits UCS C210 M2, UCS C250 M2, UCS C22 M3 SFF, UCS C260 M2 and UCS C220 M4 SFF configurations that carry the PID in their option set. Before the PO, confirm the generation, riser and slot plan on the chassis label or the running inventory.

N2XX-AIPCI01 supports FCoE, iSCSI, iSCSI Boot, FCoE Boot and PXE on the Intel X520 platform. SR-IOV gives 64 virtual functions per port, and the adapter also carries VMDq, RSS, checksum offload, TCP segmentation and VLAN tagging features.
N2XX-AIPCI01 is the base Cisco PID, and N2XX-AIPCI01= is the spare ordering form. Cisco Refresh remanufactured units are separate from ORM certified refurbished condition. Certified refurbished means the unit is inspected and bench-tested in a compatible host before sale.
