It joins legacy devices to ad hoc WLANs or infrastructure networks through a 2.4 GHz access point. The Cisco Aironet 350 network adapter fits laptops, notebook computers, personal digital assistants, handheld devices and portable devices with the external PC Card slot. The PCMCIA Type II card uses DSSS radio technology at 1, 2, 5.5 and 11 Mbps. The integrated antenna sits in the portion of the card outside the slot. AIR-LMC352 is the internal Type II or Type III PC Card version with MMCX antenna connectors.
