MS130-24-HW is a Cisco Meraki MS130 Layer 2, cloud-managed standard Gigabit copper access switch with 24 Gigabit RJ-45 access ports and 4 x 1GbE SFP fixed optical uplinks. The copper interfaces do not provide PoE, so powered endpoint loads require a separate power source or a powered model. The integrated 1U rack chassis accommodates normal access-cabinet installations. This member of the Meraki MS130 family uses Dashboard for provisioning, configuration and monitoring, with a local status page available for initial network connectivity. The MS130-24X-HW changes the access mix to six 2.5GbE ports with four 10G uplinks. For procurement, record the exact hardware PID along with the optics, compatible Ethernet cabling and Dashboard licensing required for the intended network.
MS130-24-HW price for new stock is $1,382.85. MS130-24-HW refurb price is $1,196.99. MS130-24-HW is in stock and available for free next-day delivery. (terms applied)

56 Gbps switching capacity provides the documented switching fabric for this 24-port model, while its 15W maximum power consumption determines the upper equipment power allowance. The fanless thermal design operates without a powered-port distribution budget. MS130-24-HW supports Meraki Dashboard management, remote packet capture, SNMP and syslog integration, DHCP snooping, VLAN tagging and 802.1X authentication. The published MTBF is 789842 hours at 25°C, and operating temperature spans 0°C to 45°C. The fixed internal AC supply accepts 100–240V input and is not a removable redundant module. The embedded software runs Layer 2 switching and DHCP relay; its organization must be claimed and assigned through Dashboard before administration. The four optical uplinks are 1GbE SFP cages rather than higher-rate SFP+ uplinks. Ensure the fiber media and license configuration are included in the installation bill of materials.
ORM Systems supplies MS130-24-HW new sealed or certified refurbished. Refurbished managed units undergo inspection and bench testing, firmware verification, a factory-default configuration wipe, clean boot, POST and rated-speed port-link checks, including optical-bay recognition. The new condition includes up to a 3-year extended ORM warranty; certified refurbished equipment includes up to 1 year, and both have 30-day returns subject to terms. Specify the exact switch, condition, optical transceivers and Dashboard license term in the purchase order. ORM Systems accepts POs, provides government Net-30 terms, advance-replacement RMA and UK, EU, US and MEA regional stock/RMA arrangements for volume and enterprise procurement.

A branch replacement project needs 24 native copper connections and 4 fixed optical uplinks. Specify which endpoints require Gigabit connections without PoE, identify the upstream media, and confirm that each unit can check in to the existing Meraki Dashboard organization before the equipment purchase order is finalized.
Equipment rooms containing the MS130-24-HW must allow for the published 15W maximum input and the rack-mount 1u installation profile. The fanless non-PoE hardware does not supply power to endpoint devices. Include cable routing, AC outlet availability and switch location in the procurement checklist.
When expanding an established Meraki organization, the MS130-24-HW must be claimed to Dashboard and assigned the correct licensing tier. Enterprise supports 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10-year options; Advanced supports 1, 3 or 5 years. Check the organization-wide tier and license term before ordering hardware for standardized branch deployment.
Standalone local CLI administration
MS130-24-HW relies on Meraki Dashboard for managed operation and uses a local status page for initial connectivity. A switch requiring standalone local CLI control needs a different managed platform.
Physical switch stacking requirements
MS130-24-HW does not provide physical stacking ports or a hardware stack backplane. Select a platform with dedicated physical stacking if a multi-member switch stack is required.
Direct PoE endpoint power
MS130-24-HW has non-PoE access ports and cannot power access points, cameras or IP phones from Ethernet. Choose a documented MS130 powered-port model for that requirement.

MS130-24-HW is the Cisco Meraki MS130 24-port hardware variant featuring 24 Gigabit RJ-45 access ports and 4 x 1GbE SFP uplinks. The HW ending identifies the hardware ordering item, not a bundled Dashboard license. The port arrangement distinguishes it from alternate MS130 models with PoE or multigigabit interfaces.
MS130-24-HW is managed through Cisco Meraki Dashboard after it is claimed into an organization and added to a network. The local status page supports initial connectivity configuration. Dashboard provides central configuration, firmware administration and remote troubleshooting rather than a traditional standalone switch CLI.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for Meraki MS130. MS130-24-HW remains outside the currently announced switch end-of-life entries. A future product-specific notice may establish sales and support milestones. The current hardware identity should be used when checking any subsequent product lifecycle communication.
MS130-24-HW is available from ORM Systems new sealed or certified refurbished. ORM offers up to a 3-year extended warranty for new units and up to 1 year for certified refurbished units, plus 30-day returns subject to terms. Cisco platform warranty and ongoing Meraki licensing are separate from ORM coverage.
MS130-24-HW provides 24 Gigabit RJ-45 native access ports with 4 x 1GbE SFP fixed uplinks. The dedicated management connector on rack models is not an access port. Optical ports accept compatible transceivers ordered separately. Confirm the upstream fiber speed before preparing the order, because SFP and SFP+ configurations differ.
MS130-24-HW does not supply PoE or PoE+ from its 24 copper access ports. Endpoint power therefore requires separate supplies, injectors or a different powered-port switch model. The absence of powered Ethernet also explains why there is no PoE power budget for this hardware variant.
MS130-24-HW has 4 fixed 1GbE SFP uplink cages rather than 10GbE SFP+ uplinks. For 10G fiber handoff, a separately documented MS130 X variant is needed. Match the purchased optical modules to the supported cages and upstream links. Confirm the exact hardware variant, installation media and existing organizational requirements when preparing the equipment order.
MS130-24-HW does not include dedicated physical stacking ports or a switch stacking backplane. Multiple MS130 devices may be administered from the same Meraki Dashboard environment, but that grouping is not a physical hardware stack. Plan network interconnection through the available Ethernet or optical uplinks instead.
MS130-24-HW measures 44 mm high, 440 mm wide and 250 mm deep and weighs 3.26 kg. The 440 mm-wide chassis is an integrated 1U rack-mount design. Verify available power and cable clearance. Confirm the exact hardware variant, installation media and existing organizational requirements when preparing the equipment order.
MS130-24-HW uses the Meraki MS130 Enterprise or Advanced license tier. Enterprise terms are 1, 3, 5, 7 and 10 years; Advanced terms are 1, 3 and 5 years. Co-term organizations cannot mix the tiers, so select the correct LIC-MS130-24 license family and term for that organization.
MS130-24-HW uses 24 Gigabit RJ-45 access ports and 4 x 1GbE SFP uplinks, while MS130-24X-HW has a different verified MS130 interface configuration. The variant here suits standard Gigabit access and its native 1G fiber uplinks; the other hardware serves a different endpoint or uplink requirement.
