MS410-32-HW is a cloud-managed Layer 3 fiber aggregation switch with 32 Gigabit SFP ports and four fixed 10G SFP+ uplinks. The rack-mount 1U chassis belongs to the MS410 series within the Cisco Meraki MS400 family, connecting campus access switches rather than supplying PoE to endpoints. Dedicated hardware stacking interfaces keep switch-to-switch links separate from the optical connections used for aggregation. The discontinued MS410-16-HW provides 16 Gigabit fiber ports for lower-density installations. Configuration through Meraki Dashboard places port settings, monitoring and routing under the same browser-based management environment. A dedicated management interface supports initial connectivity, while scheduled firmware upgrades and remote diagnostics support ongoing administration without a traditional command-line configuration workflow.
MS410-32-HW price for new stock is $1,819.13. MS410-32-HW refurb price is $1,191.28. MS410-32-HW is in stock and available for next-day dispatch. (terms applied)

144 Gbps switching capacity provides the fabric for aggregated traffic, and 85W maximum consumption establishes the chassis power allowance rather than the installed supply's output rating. Static routing and OSPFv2 support routed interfaces; VRRP provides the warm-spare gateway option. The 96000-entry MAC table holds learned addresses across downstream segments. MS410-32-HW supports 9578-byte jumbo frames for networks that maintain a matching end-to-end MTU. LACP forms bundled trunks, while STP/RSTP and BPDU guard address switching-loop control. IGMP snooping filters multicast delivery, and DHCP server, relay and snooping functions support address-service deployment and inspection. SNMP and Syslog integrate operational information with external monitoring tools; historical per-port and per-client statistics complement live remote packet capture. Front-to-back airflow passes through two MA-FAN-16K fans, making rack airflow direction part of the installation plan. The fiber-facing data interfaces do not provide native RJ-45 endpoint connections.
ORM Systems offers MS410-32-HW new sealed or certified refurbished; refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, rated-speed links on every port, clean boot and optics bay recognition, with firmware verified and configurations wiped to factory default. Specify condition, quantity, accessories and licensing on the purchase order. ORM coverage is up to a 3-year extended warranty for new hardware or up to 1 year for certified refurbished hardware, with 30-day returns on every condition, terms apply; Cisco's separate original-purchaser limited lifetime coverage ends September 28, 2029. Enterprise and volume orders support PO acceptance, Net-30 for government and RMA with advance replacement, with regional stock and RMA coverage across the UK, EU, US and MEA.

When several existing fiber trunks need to become one logical connection, link aggregation permits eight ports per aggregate. Multichassis aggregates are supported across stacked switches. Before the purchase order, confirm the upstream aggregation policy, physical patching plan and required cable reach for each bundle.
When an aggregation refresh also changes gateway redundancy, OSPF and warm spare cannot operate concurrently on the MS410. Physical stacking provides an alternative for gateway redundancy in an OSPF design. Confirm the routing design and chosen redundancy method before specifying additional chassis and interconnects.
When existing VLAN assignments must be retained during a hardware refresh, support for 4094 VLANs provides a limit against which to review the tag plan. Reconcile trunk membership and port assignments during staging, then attach the approved VLAN and physical patching requirements to the purchase order.
Direct PoE-powered copper endpoint connections
MS410-32-HW provides fiber aggregation rather than powered copper access. Its fixed data interfaces do not supply PoE or provide native RJ-45 connections for powered endpoints.
More than four 10G connections
MS410-32-HW has four fixed 10G SFP+ uplinks and no uplink-module bay. Additional 10G connections cannot be added by installing an uplink card.
Cisco support beyond September 2029
Cisco support for MS410-32-HW ends September 28, 2029. C9300-48S-M is the replacement, with 48 Gigabit SFP ports rather than 32.

MS410-32-HW identifies MS410 cloud-managed aggregation hardware: MS410 names the series, 32 identifies the Gigabit SFP port count, and HW identifies the hardware ordering form. The configuration also includes four fixed 10G SFP+ uplinks; Enterprise licensing and support are ordered separately.
MS410-32-HW is configured through the browser-based Meraki Dashboard, with a local status page for initial addressing and connectivity checks. SNMP and Syslog provide integration with external monitoring systems. Dashboard also supplies remote packet capture, operational statistics and scheduled firmware upgrades rather than traditional command-line administration.
MS410-32-HW requires separately purchased Enterprise licensing and support, with a one-year minimum and terms of 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 years. LIC-MS410-32-1YR provides the one-year option. New or refurbished hardware still requires licensing, and the selected coverage must account for the remaining Cisco support window.
The MS410 fiber switch supports MA-SFP-1GB-SX for Gigabit fiber connections and MA-SFP-10GB-SR for 10G fiber uplinks. These are interface optics rather than removable uplink cards. Specify compatible optics at both ends of each connection and match them to the installed fiber before completing the order.
MS410-32-HW supports eight members in a physical stack with 160 Gbps stacking bandwidth and dedicated stacking ports. Compatible interconnects include MA-CBL-40G-50CM, MA-CBL-40G-1M and MA-CBL-40G-3M. Select cable lengths for the physical layout; browser-based Virtual Stacking does not replace the physical stack connections.
MS410-32-HW provides Layer 3 switching with static routing and OSPFv2, plus VRRP for warm-spare gateway redundancy. OSPF and warm spare cannot operate concurrently. An OSPF deployment requiring gateway redundancy should use the physical-stacking approach rather than specifying simultaneous OSPF and warm-spare operation.
MS410-32-HW includes one MA-PWR-250WAC; redundant power requires a separately purchased second MA-PWR-250WAC. Each MA-PWR-250WAC is rated at 250W, while maximum chassis consumption is 85W. Specify the additional MA-PWR-250WAC explicitly when the installation requires redundant internal AC power rather than assuming both positions arrive populated.
The MS410 aggregation switch does not provide PoE; its data connections use Gigabit SFP ports and 10G SFP+ uplinks. The RJ-45 management connection is not a powered endpoint access port. Deployments connecting powered copper endpoints need a separate access-switching and endpoint-power arrangement.
MS410-32-HW reached end of sale on September 28, 2024, and Cisco support ends September 28, 2029. C9300-48S-M is the replacement for the 32-port configuration. Remaining hardware can support existing installations, but purchase planning must account for the fixed final support date.
MS410-32-HW has 32 Gigabit SFP aggregation ports, while the discontinued MS410-16-HW has 16. The distinction is fiber-port density within the MS410 series. Higher-density existing installations use MS410-32-HW, whereas MS410-16-HW represents the smaller discontinued configuration rather than a current-generation purchasing alternative.
MS410-32-HW has fixed uplinks, while C9300-48S-M uses modular uplinks and is its replacement. The discontinued MS410 configuration suits orders preserving an existing fixed-uplink installation. Buyers moving to the replacement should specify the required uplink module separately rather than assuming the MS410 uplink arrangement carries over.
ORM Systems offers MS410-32-HW new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to a 3-year extended warranty for new units and up to 1 year for refurbished units. Returns are 30 days for either condition; terms apply. Cisco's original-purchaser limited lifetime hardware warranty is separate and ends September 28, 2029.
