MS150-24T-4X is a cloud-managed Layer 2+ access switch with 24 Gigabit Ethernet copper ports and four fixed 10G SFP+ uplinks. Its non-PoE configuration connects separately powered endpoints in branch and campus networks, while integrated rack mounting provides a 1U installation. This 24-port Gigabit access switch provides dedicated upstream connections without requiring an uplink expansion card. The Meraki MS150 family includes powered alternatives; MS150-24P-4X adds PoE+ for endpoints requiring power over their network connections. Central configuration and monitoring run through Meraki Dashboard rather than a device-by-device configuration workflow. When replacing a discontinued MS125-24, the outgoing series' March 28, 2025 end-of-sale milestone distinguishes a refresh purchase from an additional spare. Keep the outgoing asset identifier separate from the incoming hardware condition on the bill of materials, and specify any required transition staging before issuing the purchase order.
When adding capacity beside an existing MS150 stack, physical connection alone does not complete membership: connected members must also match the Meraki Dashboard stack configuration. MS150-24T-4X identifies a Meraki MS150 data-only switch with 24 Gigabit Ethernet access ports and four 10G SFP+ uplinks. MS150 names the series, 24T selects the 24-port data-only configuration, and 4X identifies the four 10G uplinks. The hardware PID does not select a license tier.
