3.2 Gbps switching capacity carries aggregate Ethernet traffic across the switching fabric. 1.4 Mpps forwarding handles 64-byte packet traffic. Four hardware queues apply automatic QoS through priority queuing and weighted round-robin scheduling. Store-and-forward switching prevents damaged packets from being passed through the network, while head-of-line blocking prevention addresses blocked traffic within the switching process. Jumbo-frame support accommodates frames of 9216 bytes, and 802.3x flow control provides link-level traffic signaling. Each port independently negotiates its connection speed and half- or full-duplex operation without administrator intervention. SF100D-16-UK receives 12V DC at 1A through an external adapter, so its mains connection depends on that adapter rather than an internal AC supply. An operating range of 0°C to 40°C bounds equipment placement; this is not an industrial-temperature switch.
