Technical Details
3.2 Gbps switching capacity accommodates traffic across the copper connections, while 1.4 Mpps forwarding capacity describes packet handling with 64-byte packets. Four hardware queues support traffic prioritization using priority queuing and weighted round-robin scheduling. Store-and-forward switching identifies damaged packets before they pass through the network, and head-of-line blocking prevention addresses traffic waiting behind blocked packets. SF90D-16 automatically negotiates connection speed and half- or full-duplex operation; automatic MDI/MDI-X detection handles Ethernet cable orientation. An external adapter supplies the required 12V DC, 1A input, so the power arrangement must include that adapter rather than a direct AC connection to the chassis. The operating range is 0°C to 40°C, which sets the environmental boundary for placement.
