C1300-24XTS combines twelve 10G copper connections and twelve fixed 10G SFP+ cages in a managed, non-PoE switch for mixed-media business networks. Its Layer 2+ feature set includes routing capabilities, while the 1U chassis belongs in a standard equipment rack rather than a compact desktop footprint. The Catalyst 1300 Series serves SMB and branch-office networks where separately powered equipment needs both copper and fiber connectivity. Unlike shared combo designs, the copper and SFP+ connections on this model are independent, allowing the connection schedule to retain both media types without trading one for the other. C1300-16XTS reduces that configuration to eight copper connections and eight SFP+ cages. Fixed optical interfaces determine the uplink architecture; the chassis has no expansion bay for a higher-speed uplink card.
C1300-24XTS price for new stock is $3,415.65, a 31.5% saving from the Cisco list price of $4,988.25. C1300-24XTS refurb price is $976.50. C1300-24XTS is in stock and available for next-day dispatch. (terms applied)

480 Gbps switching capacity provides wire-speed, nonblocking forwarding across the data interfaces. 357.12 Mpps forwarding at 64-byte packet size identifies the packet-processing limit separately from bandwidth. Static routing and RIP v2 handle inter-network traffic, while PBR selects alternate next hops according to access-control policy; OSPF is absent on this model. The IPv4 forwarding table accommodates 7168 routes, so routing scale does not imply support for an additional dynamic-routing protocol. C1300-24XTS carries 1 GB DRAM and 1 GB flash for system operation and firmware storage. An 8 MB packet buffer is shared dynamically across ports rather than reserved equally for individual connections. Customized Linux OS software supplies the management environment, with local web configuration and a scriptable CLI available for administration. STP, RSTP and MSTP control switching loops; LACP combines links into logical groups. SNMP v3 supports authenticated monitoring, while sFlow exports traffic samples to an external collector. One fan provides active cooling rather than silent, fanless operation.
ORM Systems supplies C1300-24XTS in new sealed and certified refurbished condition; new units carry up to a 3-year extended warranty, and certified refurbished units carry up to 1 year. Refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, rated-speed links on every port, clean boot and optics bay recognition, with firmware verified and configuration wiped to factory default. Specify condition, regional power cord and required accessories on the PO; returns cover 30 days on either condition, with terms applying. Enterprise and volume orders accept POs, government buyers have Net-30 terms, and RMA with advance replacement operates across UK, EU, US and MEA regions.

An existing CBS350-24XTS-NA estate creates a refresh requirement after that model's May 30, 2024 end of sale. Treat the replacement as a new hardware order rather than an automatic configuration transfer. Before the PO, inventory connected media and confirm the configuration and accessory schedule.
When several branch offices need the same locally managed configuration, the embedded Cisco Business Dashboard probe removes the need for a separate onsite probe appliance. Specify the management approach alongside each hardware line, and agree on configuration ownership and site-specific settings before placing the combined PO.
When branch hardware is delivered into a cold equipment room, a 0°C minimum cold-start temperature matters separately from the operating range. Include site acceptance conditions in the rollout checklist, allow the installation environment to reach that threshold, and confirm startup conditions before issuing the PO.
PoE power for connected endpoints
C1300-24XTS provides no PoE output. C1300-24P-4X adds 24 PoE+ Gigabit access ports with a shared 195W budget, but its copper access speed is lower.
OSPF-based dynamic routing
C1300-24XTS supports static routing, RIP v2 and PBR, not OSPF. Catalyst 1300X supports OSPF v2 and v3; its available access-port configurations differ from this mixed-media 10G model.
25G or faster network connections
C1300-24XTS limits network connections to 10G and has no removable uplink-card bay. Its fixed SFP+ cages cannot provide 25G network uplinks or accept a higher-speed uplink card.

Robust build. The Catalyst 1300 is a dependable choice for modern networking.
C1300-24XTS identifies a Catalyst 1300 switch with 24 data ports: 12 copper and 12 SFP+, all supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet. C1300 names the series, 24 states the combined data-port count, and XTS identifies this mixed copper/SFP+ configuration. The part number contains no software-tier suffix.
Catalyst 1300 10G switches support an HTTP/HTTPS web interface, CLI over SSH or Telnet, RJ-45 or USB-C console, Cisco Business Dashboard, Cisco Business mobile app, and SNMP. Cisco Network Plug and Play supports provisioning. An optional external Bluetooth dongle also enables browser access or CLI access over SSH or Telnet.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for Catalyst 1300. C1300-24XTS remains available for new deployments and replacement orders. The May 30, 2024 end-of-sale date applies to the discontinued CBS350-24XTS-NA, which names C1300-24XTS as its replacement, rather than to the Catalyst 1300 model itself.
ORM Systems offers C1300-24XTS new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to a 3-year extended warranty for new units and up to 1 year for refurbished units. Cisco's hardware warranty is limited lifetime with return-to-factory replacement. Returns are available for 30 days on either condition; terms apply.
C1300-24XTS requires no separate switch software license or subscription, so there are no selectable network-license tiers or minimum software terms for its included functions. A new or certified refurbished hardware order therefore does not require an accompanying subscription line simply to activate switching or routing.
C1300-24XTS replaces CBS350-24XTS-AU / CBS350-24XTS-EU / CBS350-24XTS-JP / CBS350-24XTS-NA / CBS350-24XTS-SP / CBS350-24XTS-TW / CBS350-24XTS-UK. All seven discontinued predecessors reached end of sale on May 30, 2024, with last support on May 31, 2029. Specify the replacement hardware separately and review the existing configuration and connected media before migrating.
C1300-24P-4X provides 24 Gigabit PoE+ access ports with a 195W shared power budget, whereas C1300-24XTS supplies no PoE. The former serves powered endpoint connections at Gigabit speeds; C1300-24XTS suits separately powered equipment needing its mixed copper and SFP+ 10G data connections.
C1300-24XTS takes AC power through an internal supply, whereas C1300-8T-E-2G uses external AC power. The smaller model has eight Gigabit access ports in a desktop enclosure rather than the target model's mixed-media 10G configuration. Specify the former for rack-based 10G connections and the latter for compact Gigabit installations.
C1300-24XTS has 24 data ports split between 12 copper ports and 12 SFP+ cages; C1300-16XTS has 16, split eight and eight. Both configurations use 10G connections. The larger model suits a 24-connection schedule, while the smaller model suits an eight-copper, eight-fiber schedule without purchasing the additional data ports.
C1300-24XTS supports Front Panel Stacking with eight members and can stack only with C1300 Family 2 models. C1300 Family 1 and Catalyst 1300X cannot join that stack. Supported 10G interconnect choices include SFP-H10GB-CU1M, SFP-H10GB-CU3M and SFP-H10GB-CU5M; select lengths for the actual rack spacing.
Cisco C1300-24XTS has 12 fixed 10G SFP+ cages for fiber or compatible direct-attach connections, with no removable uplink-card bay. SFP-10G-SR supports multimode fiber, while SFP-10G-LR supports single-mode fiber links to 10 km. SFP-10G-SR and SFP-10G-LR are separate order items; match media and distance before specifying each connection.
Catalyst 1300 10G switches support static routing, RIP v2 and PBR, with 7168 IPv4 routes and 256 IP interfaces. OSPF is not available on Catalyst 1300; OSPF v2 and v3 belong to Catalyst 1300X. Assess the required route capacity separately from the dynamic-routing protocol before selecting hardware.
Cisco C1300-24XTS is a full-width 1U rack-mount switch measuring 444.3 mm wide, 43.94 mm high and 273 mm deep, with a 4.2 kg weight. The 24-port package includes rack brackets; RCKMNT-1RU-1K= is the matching rack-mount kit when replacement mounting hardware is required.
No, C1300-24XTS does not provide PoE output or operate as a PoE-powered switch; its input is internal AC power. Copper connections carry data rather than endpoint power. Include separate power arrangements for attached equipment instead of allocating a PoE budget to this model.
C1300-24XTS accepts 100-240V AC and reaches a maximum 88.2W consumption at 110V, versus 86.7W at 220V. Power comes from one internal supply, without a second internal PSU option. Include the appropriate regional power cord unless NO-POWER-CORD was deliberately selected for the order.
