During a like-for-like machine-network replacement, existing controls can depend on the current addressing and interface behavior. The hardware has neither NAT nor PTP support, so preserving an application that already performs those functions elsewhere is a separate compatibility check. IE-2000-24T67-B identifies an Industrial Ethernet 2000 IP67 switch with 24 Fast Ethernet M12 ports and LAN Base. IE-2000 identifies the industrial family, 24 indicates the port count, T denotes copper Ethernet connectivity, 67 identifies the IP67 configuration, and B selects LAN Base. This configuration has no dedicated uplink ports or PoE output.
IE-2000-24T67-B supports Web Device Manager, CLI through the M12 console or SSH/Telnet, SNMP, Cisco Network Assistant, Cisco Prime/LMS, CIP, and PROFINET through Siemens STEP 7. Cisco DNA Center provides centralized automation and assurance with an optional Cisco DNA Essentials term. CAB-CONSOLE-M12= provides the cable connection for local serial access.
IE-2000-24T67-B is discontinued, and Cisco hardware support ended March 31, 2026. The Industrial Ethernet 2000 IP67 series supports -40°C to 60°C in sealed enclosures and -40°C to 70°C in vented enclosures. Forced-air installations use a -34°C to 75°C range under the specified airflow conditions. Safety certifications do not cover operation above 60°C, so extended-temperature operation does not carry the same safety approval scope.
IE-2000-16T67P-G-E supports PoE and PoE+, whereas IE-2000-24T67-B supplies no endpoint power.
