6.5 Mpps forwarding with 64-byte packets provides a packet-rate reference for traffic planning. 120W of shared PoE output requires aggregate endpoint sizing rather than maximum-output assumptions across every powered connection. IPv4 static routing is included in the supplied image; dynamic routing requires IP Lite. IE-2000-16T67P-G-E accepts two DC sources and draws from the higher-voltage input, switching to the alternate when a source fails. Separate input-status LEDs on the Cisco IE2000 IP67 Series distinguish power conditions from link activity. An optional SD-IE-1GB card stores firmware and the startup configuration for replacement staging. 150W maximum consumption sets the DC supply sizing reference; the recommended source rating is at least 160W. Fiber transceivers cannot be installed because the uplinks are fixed M12 copper connections. Minimum 50.8 mm clearance at the top, bottom, sides, and front preserves the required airflow space.

When replacement hardware must be configured before dispatch, the serial console provides a staging path without relying on an existing IP address. CAB-CONSOLE-M12= connects the M12 console to DB9F. Prepare a terminal profile at 9600 baud and include the cable on the PO.
When several exposed sites must share one installation standard, connector sealing becomes part of the purchasing specification. M12 connections require 0.5-0.8 Nm torque, and unused ports need properly fitted dust caps. Include compatible cable terminations, sealing parts, and installation requirements in each site's purchase order.
When a rollout must report switch faults to an external indicator, the single relay output can connect an alarm circuit. The contacts support an isolated circuit limited to 24V DC at 1A or 48V DC at 0.5A. Specify the alarm wiring and electrical load before the PO.
Direct RJ-45 patch-cord connections
The access connections use M12 D-coded sockets and the uplinks use M12 X-coded sockets. Ordinary RJ-45 patch cords cannot connect directly to these interfaces.
Eight simultaneous 30W endpoint loads
Eight 30W endpoints require 240W, exceeding the shared 120W PoE budget. The eight powered connections cannot all deliver their maximum PoE+ output simultaneously.
Dynamic routing with the supplied license
LAN Base provides IPv4 static routing but excludes OSPF and EIGRP. Those protocols require IP Lite rather than the software tier supplied with this part number.

IE-2000-16T67P-G-E identifies an Industrial Ethernet 2000 IP67 switch with 16 Fast Ethernet M12 ports, eight PoE+ ports, two Gigabit uplinks, and LAN Base. IE-2000 names the family; 16T identifies the copper access configuration, 67 the enclosure rating, P powered ports, G Gigabit uplinks, and E LAN Base.
IE-2000-16T67P-G-E supports Web Device Manager, a console CLI, remote CLI over SSH or Telnet, and SNMP management. Cisco Network Assistant, Cisco Prime, LMS, and Cisco DNA Center provide additional management paths. Cisco DNA Center requires a separate Cisco DNA Essentials subscription; specify the intended management method before ordering.
IE-2000-16T67P-G-E reached end of sale on July 26, 2024, with final support on July 31, 2029, subject to entitlement. Software maintenance ended July 26, 2025, and vulnerability/security support ends July 26, 2027. Existing-stock purchases do not restart those Cisco lifecycle milestones or extend the support period.
IE-2000-16T67P-G-E ships with LAN Base; Enhanced LAN Base adds Layer 2 NAT, while IP Lite adds dynamic routing. Separate Cisco DNA Essentials management subscriptions have three-, five-, or seven-year terms, with a three-year minimum. Cisco DNA Advantage is unavailable, and DNA subscription orders close December 11, 2026.
IE-2000-16T67P-G-E shares 120W across eight PoE-capable ports, with 30W maximum output per port in PoE+ mode. Eight endpoints cannot simultaneously draw that per-port maximum. Build the order around actual endpoint demand and the available DC source rather than assuming every powered port receives its maximum allocation.
IE-2000-16T67P-G-E has two fixed 10/100/1000 uplinks with M12 X-coded connectors, not SFP cages. The access ports use M12 D-coded connections. Specify shielded M12 X-coded uplink cabling and suitable connections at the other end; fiber transceivers do not plug directly into this switch.
IE-2000-16T67P-G-E accepts external DC power, and PWR-IE160W-67-DC= is a compatible, separately sold 160W DC-DC supply. PoE+ operation requires 50-57V DC at the switch. Two DC inputs support alternate external sources, but the chassis does not contain redundant hot-swappable power-supply modules; specify the source and cabling separately.
IE-2000-16T67P-G-E includes IPv4 static routing under LAN Base, making its supplied configuration Layer 2+. OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, and VRF Lite belong to IP Lite; IPv6 static routing and OSPFv3 also require that tier. Do not specify dynamic routing against the unmodified LAN Base image.
Industrial Ethernet 2000 IP67 switches mount on a wall using integrated mounting ears. IE-2000-16T67P-G-E measures 241.7 mm high, 300.7 mm wide, and 81.5 mm deep, with a weight of 3.3 kg. Allow room for cable routing and verify the mounting clearances before placing the order.
IE-2000-16T67P-G-E can power eight endpoints, whereas IE-2000-16T67-B provides no PoE. Both models are discontinued members of the Industrial Ethernet 2000 IP67 family. For installed-base matching, the powered version serves endpoint-power requirements; the non-PoE version corresponds to installations using separately powered equipment.
IE-2000-16T67P-G-E has 16 Fast Ethernet access ports, whereas IE-2000-8T67P-G-E has eight. Both models are discontinued. The 16-port version fits replacement orders needing more local endpoint connections; the eight-port version fits installed equipment that already uses the smaller connection count and does not require additional access ports.
