8.8 Gbps switching capacity and 6.5 Mpps forwarding provide the switching resources for the installed interfaces. ME-2400-24TS-D carries 64 MB DRAM, 16 MB flash and a 2000-entry MAC table. 30W maximum consumption sets the equipment power allowance; typical consumption is 25W.

Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on, POST, rated-speed port links, optics recognition and clean boot; firmware is verified and configurations are wiped to factory default.
