Static IPv4 routing supports configured routes without the dynamic routing protocols associated with IP Lite. STP, LACP and Resilient Ethernet Protocol provide separate options for controlling Layer 2 connectivity. LAN Base adds DHCP Snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection, IP Source Guard and AutoQoS. IE-2000-8TC-G-B contains 256 MB DRAM and 64 MB internal flash; removable configuration storage is separate from that internal flash. An 8000-entry MAC table and 2 MB egress buffer establish different limits for address learning and queued traffic. The Cisco IE 2000 Series supports Web Device Manager, Cisco IOS CLI and SNMP management, allowing configuration access to follow the site's operating procedures. 20W maximum power consumption provides the switch load to include when allocating its external power feed.
