IE-3400H-16FT-A identifies a Catalyst IE3400 Heavy Duty switch: IE-3400H identifies the industrial family, 16 identifies sixteen interfaces, FT identifies Fast Ethernet M12 connections, and A identifies Network Advantage. IE-3400H-16FT-A includes perpetual Network Advantage; optional DNA Essentials and DNA Advantage subscriptions have three-, five-, or seven-year terms, with three years the minimum. No subscription is mandatory for switch operation. Keep add-on entitlements and Smart Account reporting separate from the hardware condition selected for the order.
IE-3400H-16FT-A includes Network Advantage, while IE-3400H-16FT-E includes Network Essentials on the same sixteen-port Fast Ethernet hardware.
