Replacing a discontinued IE-2000-16T67-B follows its March 5, 2021 end of sale and March 31, 2026 end of Cisco support. The replacement changes Fast Ethernet connections to Gigabit Ethernet. Before issuing the PO, verify existing cable compatibility and connector coding.
Preparing hardware before installation requires a compatible local console connection. CAB-CONSOLE-M12= connects the M12 A-coded console interface to DB9F equipment. Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for Catalyst IE3400 Heavy Duty. The discontinued IE-2000-16T67-B predecessor reached its last date of Cisco support on March 31, 2026; that milestone does not retire IE-3400H-16T-E.
ORM Systems offers IE-3400H-16T-E new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to a 3-year extended warranty on new units and up to 1 year on refurbished units. Cisco's separate platform warranty is a 5-year limited hardware warranty. Returns are available within 30 days for either condition; terms apply.
