SG300-10MPP-K9-NA combines fanless operation with eight Gigabit PoE+ access ports and two fixed Gigabit copper/SFP combo uplinks in a managed Layer 2+ desktop switch. The Small Business 300 family supports wired workstations, IP phones, wireless access points and surveillance endpoints. Each combo uplink uses its copper interface or its fiber interface, not both simultaneously. The discontinued SG300-10PP-K9-NA provides a lower 62W power budget for comparison with existing installations. This eight-port Gigabit PoE+ configuration uses built-in uplinks rather than an empty network-module bay, so expansion does not involve selecting a removable uplink card. Copper and fiber connections remain Gigabit links; installing an optical transceiver does not add a faster uplink speed.

20 Gbps switching capacity supports simultaneous traffic across the installed interfaces. 14.88 Mpps forwarding performance specifies packet handling for 64-byte packets, providing a separate measure from switching bandwidth. 124W of shared PoE power supports endpoint allocation without promising maximum output on every powered port simultaneously. Static IPv4 routing supports 512 routes and 128 IP interfaces for communication between configured networks; dynamic route exchange is not provided. SG300-10MPP-K9-NA carries 128 MB of DRAM and 16 MB of flash for control software and configuration storage. An aggregate 8 Mb packet buffer is dynamically shared across the interfaces, while 9216-byte jumbo-frame support accommodates larger Ethernet frames. Browser management, a full command-line interface and SNMP provide configuration and monitoring paths. The forwarding address table holds 16384 MAC entries. Maximum consumption reaches 145.7W with PoE at 110V input, which is the figure to include when sizing the switch's electrical load rather than using the endpoint power budget alone.
ORM Systems offers SG300-10MPP-K9-NA new sealed or certified refurbished; specify condition and quantity on the purchase order. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on, POST, rated-speed port links and clean boot, with PoE output verified under load on every powered port, firmware verified and configuration wiped to factory default. New units carry up to a 3-year extended warranty, certified refurbished units carry up to 1 year, and every condition includes 30-day returns; terms apply. For enterprise and volume orders, PO acceptance, Net-30 for government and RMA with advance replacement are available, with regional stock/RMA across the UK, EU, US and MEA.

A replacement-unit purchase may require configuration validation before the hardware reaches its destination. Dual software images and two configuration files support staging a candidate configuration separately from the configuration intended for reboot. Specify the required configuration handoff and validation steps before releasing the replacement purchase order.
A multi-site hardware order needs a repeatable configuration process rather than individually prepared browser sessions. Text-editable configuration files and SCP downloads support configuration distribution, while CLI privilege levels 1, 7 and 15 separate operator access. Specify configuration ownership, credential handling and administrator access requirements before ordering the batch.
A branch rollout connecting employee devices alongside guest equipment requires an endpoint-admission policy before hardware installation. IEEE 802.1X authentication, guest VLANs, DHCP snooping, IP Source Guard and Dynamic ARP Inspection provide controls for that policy. Specify the authentication service and trusted network interfaces before approving the purchase order.
10G uplinks to distribution
The fixed uplinks operate at 1Gbps and accept Gigabit SFP optics, so the chassis cannot provide a native 10G connection to distribution equipment.
Thirty watts on every port
Eight simultaneous 30W loads require 240W, exceeding the shared 124W budget. Such endpoint plans require different power sourcing or switching hardware with sufficient aggregate output.
Ongoing Cisco hardware support
Cisco service ended May 31, 2023. C1300-8FP-2G is the current endpoint of the replacement chain for buyers requiring a supported migration target.

SG300-10MPP-K9-NA identifies a Gigabit 300 Series managed switch with Maximum PoE+. SG300 identifies the family, 10 counts eight access ports plus two combo uplinks, and MPP identifies the Maximum PoE+ configuration. K9 is the encryption identifier, while NA is the regional power-plug suffix.
SG300-10MPP-K9-NA supports an HTTP/HTTPS web interface, Textview and full CLI access through the serial console or SSH/Telnet, and SNMP versions 1, 2c and 3. These paths cover local configuration, remote administration and monitoring. Historical integrations include FindIT Network and OnPlus; these are separate from the switch's built-in management interfaces.
SG300-10MPP-K9-NA is discontinued, and Cisco support ended May 31, 2023. Its end-of-sale date was May 10, 2018, followed by the last shipment milestone on August 10, 2018. Remaining inventory does not restart Cisco support or extend those lifecycle milestones for a later purchaser.
ORM Systems offers SG300-10MPP-K9-NA new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to a 3-year extended warranty for new units and up to 1 year for refurbished units. Returns cover 30 days in every condition; terms apply. Cisco's original limited lifetime hardware warranty ended with Cisco service on May 31, 2023.
SG300-10MPP-K9-NA provides a shared 124W budget across eight PoE+ ports, with a 30W maximum per powered port. Eight simultaneous 30W allocations would require 240W, so maximum per-port output is not available everywhere at once. Size the aggregate endpoint allocation, not just the number of powered connections.
SG300-10MPP-K9-NA supports Gigabit fiber connections using MGBSX1 for multimode fiber or MGBLX1 for single-mode fiber. The two uplinks are combo interfaces, with copper and SFP connections sharing each logical port. Specify matching optics and fiber at the remote end; installing optics does not create additional independent uplink ports.
SG300-10MPP-K9-NA supports static IPv4 routing between configured networks, with 512 static routes and 128 IP interfaces. Its routing capability makes the switch Layer 2+ rather than a dynamic-routing access switch. Routing interfaces can use physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLAN interfaces or loopback interfaces.
SG300-10MPP-K9-NA uses an external AC power adapter accepting 100-240V AC at 50-60 Hz. The desktop package includes the adapter rather than an internal redundant power-supply assembly. Confirm the adapter is included with the selected condition, and size the electrical feed for the 145.7W maximum consumption with PoE.
The Small Business 300 ten-port Maximum PoE+ switch is fanless and includes a mounting kit. Its 279.4 mm-wide chassis is a desktop enclosure rather than a full-width rack chassis. The enclosure measures 44.45 mm high and 170 mm deep, so mounting hardware and adapter placement still need space.
SG300-10MPP-K9-NA has a 124W PoE budget, while SG300-10PP-K9-NA has 62W. Both configurations provide eight Gigabit PoE+ access ports and two Gigabit combo uplinks, so endpoint power demand distinguishes these discontinued models. The former suits higher-power legacy allocations; the latter matches installations whose aggregate allocation stays within 62W.
SG300-10MPP-K9-NA has eight dedicated Gigabit access ports, while SG300-28MP-K9 has 26, including 24 powered ports. Port density distinguishes these discontinued configurations without treating their combo uplinks as extra access connections. The smaller model matches compact legacy installations; the larger model matches existing deployments needing more endpoint connections.
SG300-10MPP-K9-NA has ended Cisco support, while C1300-8FP-2G is the current migration endpoint with eight Gigabit powered access ports and two Gigabit combo uplinks. The chain passes through the discontinued SG350-10MP-K9-NA and CBS350-8FP-E-2G-NA. The older switch serves exact-match legacy requirements; the current model serves replacement projects requiring an ongoing Cisco product line.
SG300-10MPP-K9-NA replaces SRW2008MP-K9-NA, the older ten-port Gigabit Maximum PoE managed switch whose end-of-sale date was April 27, 2015. The replacement introduces the Maximum PoE+ configuration. Both are now legacy products, so this relationship supports installed-base identification rather than implying either model remains a current Cisco purchase.
The Small Business 300 series supports 4096 simultaneous VLANs for network segmentation. Voice VLAN, guest VLAN and protected-port functions provide additional separation controls. STP, RSTP and MSTP support loop management, while LACP supports link aggregation. VLAN capacity is separate from the smaller number of routed IP interfaces.
The ten-port Maximum PoE+ configuration provides an aggregate 8 Mb packet buffer dynamically shared across its ports and supports jumbo frames through 9216 bytes. The buffer is shared storage rather than a dedicated allocation for each interface. Jumbo-frame settings must also match the requirements of connected equipment and the intervening network.
