MS210-24-HW is a fanless, cloud-managed Layer 2+ access switch with 24 Gigabit Ethernet copper ports and four fixed 1G SFP uplinks in a 1U rack-mount chassis. The non-PoE configuration connects independently powered workstations, printers and other branch endpoints without supplying power over the network cable. Meraki MS210 places port configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting under centralized web management rather than a conventional switch CLI. Within the same series, MS210-24P-HW adds PoE+ with a 370W shared budget for powered endpoints. Role-based administration separates operational permissions across administrators, while event and configuration-change logs identify changes without requiring on-site console access. The combination serves branch and small-campus access networks where centralized administration and independently powered endpoints define the hardware requirement.
MS210-24-HW price for new stock is $1,441.65. MS210-24-HW refurb price is $218.39. MS210-24-HW is in stock and available for next-day dispatch. (terms applied)

128 Gbps switching capacity provides the switching fabric for access traffic, while 41.67 Mpps forwarding defines the packet-processing rate. Static routing supports configured next-hop paths, and DHCP relay passes client requests toward a DHCP server; dynamic routing is not supported. MS210-24-HW maintains 16000 MAC entries for learned endpoints, while VLAN support separates traffic across 4094 VLANs. STP/RSTP, BPDU guard, root guard and loop guard provide controls for Layer 2 topology changes. IGMP snooping filters multicast delivery, and port mirroring copies selected traffic for analysis. 24W full-load draw sets the per-switch allowance for circuit planning; a 15W idle figure describes the lower-load state. The MS210-24 uses a fixed internal supply rather than a second internal PSU bay, so internal power-module redundancy is unavailable. SNMPd and SYSLOG integration export monitoring information to other management systems, while scheduled firmware upgrades let administrators select maintenance timing.
ORM Systems supplies MS210-24-HW new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to a 3-year extended warranty on new units, up to 1 year on certified refurbished units, and 30-day returns on either condition; terms apply. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, every port linking at rated speed, optics bay recognition and clean boot, with firmware verified and configuration wiped to factory default. Specify the condition and add MA-PWR-CORD-US for a US power connection before issuing the purchase order. Enterprise and volume purchasing supports PO acceptance, Net-30 for government, and RMA with advance replacement across the UK, EU, US and MEA.

When a branch rollout needs consistent port policies across multiple locations, configuration templates can establish the intended settings before hardware arrives. Layer 7 fingerprinting adds application and client identification to the rollout checklist. Specify the dashboard organization, template ownership and required visibility before placing the order.
When an existing MS225 stack needs additional copper connectivity, MS210 members can share the physical stack at 80 Gbps through two dedicated stacking interfaces. Treat the interconnect as a separate cabling requirement from the uplinks, and verify member compatibility and cable availability before the PO.
When a wired access rollout depends on identity-based admission, staging should exercise IEEE 802.1X, MAB and hybrid authentication before production use. RADIUS server testing and port-security behavior belong in the acceptance plan. Specify the required authentication modes and test credentials before ordering the rollout quantity.
PoE power for connected endpoints
MS210-24-HW supplies no endpoint power over Ethernet. MS210-24P-HW adds PoE+ with a 370W shared budget for buyers who need powered access ports.
10G uplinks on each switch
MS210-24-HW limits each fixed uplink to 1GbE. MS225-24-HW provides four 10GbE SFP+ uplinks while retaining 24 Gigabit copper access ports for endpoint connections.
Redundant internal power supply modules
MS210-24-HW has a fixed internal power supply, not dual internal PSU modules. External backup power does not provide an additional internal bay or hot-swappable internal supplies.

MS210-24-HW uses MS210 for the switch series, 24 for its Gigabit copper access-port count, and HW for the hardware order. The configuration is non-PoE and includes fixed 1G SFP uplinks. A separate license provides the selected cloud-management entitlement; HW is not a software tier.
MS210-24-HW is configured and monitored through the browser-based Meraki dashboard rather than a conventional local switch CLI. Remote tools include cable testing and packet capture, while SNMPd and SYSLOG support integration with other monitoring systems. Scheduled firmware upgrades and role-based administrator permissions are also available through centralized cloud management.
MS210-24-HW requires separate licensing, with Enterprise co-term licensing or MS200 Medium subscription licensing. Enterprise terms are 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 years; subscriptions start at one year and offer Essentials through LIC-MS-200-M-E or Advantage through LIC-MS-200-M-A. The hardware PID does not include either license.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for MS210. MS210-24-HW is separate from the legacy stacking-cable retirement: MA-CBL-40G-50CM, MA-CBL-40G-1M and MA-CBL-40G-3M reach end of sale on October 29, 2026. Support for those accessories ends October 31, 2031, with no replacement cable available.
MS210-24-HW fiber uplinks use 1GbE SFP optics, selected separately for the required fiber type and link reach. The switch has fixed SFP cages rather than a removable uplink card. Both link ends need compatible optics; the dedicated stacking interfaces are not additional Ethernet uplinks.
MS210-24-HW supports physical stacks of eight switches with 80 Gbps stack bandwidth and can mix with MS225 members. Use MA-CBL-40G-50CM, MA-CBL-40G-1M or MA-CBL-40G-3M for the required reach. Virtual Stacking groups ports for management and does not replace the physical interconnect or increase data-plane bandwidth.
MS210-24-HW supports static routing and DHCP relay, giving the switch Layer 2+ capability without dynamic routing. Static paths must be configured for the intended routed networks, while DHCP relay forwards client requests to a DHCP server. The routing feature set is not a full dynamic-routing implementation.
No, MS210-24-HW uses one fixed internal power supply and does not have redundant internal PSU modules. External redundancy uses PWR-RPS2300, a discontinued chassis with no replacement available. The switch draws 15W at idle and 24W at full load; those figures are consumption, not a PoE budget.
MS210-24P-HW provides PoE+ with a 370W shared power budget, whereas MS210-24-HW supplies data connectivity without endpoint power. The powered version suits purchases for phones, cameras or access points that require Ethernet-delivered power; the non-PoE version suits independently powered endpoints.
MS210-48-HW has 48 Gigabit copper access ports, while MS210-24-HW has 24. Both retain four fixed 1G SFP uplinks. The 24-port model fits a smaller endpoint count; the 48-port model suits a purchase driven by more copper connections within one switch chassis.
MS225-24-HW carries four 10G SFP+ uplinks, whereas MS210-24-HW carries four 1G SFP uplinks. Both provide 24 Gigabit copper access ports. MS210-24-HW suits a 1G uplink design; MS225-24-HW suits buyers who need 10G connections on the individual switch rather than only through another stack member.
Yes, MS210-24-HW is a 1U rack-mount switch with integrated mounting brackets and included mounting hardware. The chassis measures 43.8 mm high, 484.6 mm wide and 250 mm deep, including accessories. Desktop placement is also supported with included feet, but the switch is not a compact desktop-width model.
ORM Systems offers MS210-24-HW new sealed with up to a 3-year extended warranty or certified refurbished with up to 1 year. Cisco's separate platform hardware warranty is limited lifetime. Both ORM conditions include 30-day returns, with terms applying; ORM coverage is separate from Cisco warranty eligibility.
